TUTAPS - Tshwane University of Technology Association of Pharmacy Students
Mandate
An association aimed at uniting and uplifting Tshwane University of Technology pharmacy students and birthing long-lasting relationships with other pharmacy students in South Africa.
TUTAPS aims to:

Unite all pharmacy students on our campuses.

Establish and maintain positive relationships between the pharmacy staff and students.

Advocate for pharmacy students and assist with internal and external educational and societal matters.

Develop and maintain relationships with other bodies and other TUT campuses.

Promote the diversity of problem-based learning.

Encourage pharmacy students to initiate and participate in community development activities, such as community-based research and outreach programs.

“Enlarge the scope of knowledge" of pharmacy students, thus promoting the importance of the pharmacy profession to society and the environment.

Raise funds to assist in the achievement of the association's goals and objectives, as well as to organize recreational activities regularly.

Establish and maintain relationships with pharmacy students both nationally and internationally.

Build a relationship with the somatology department and encourage interaction.
